Well its official, the nasty, awful and disrespectful word (drum roll http://please)....Wadja.com has been blocked by the all mighty, all powerful Facebook.
Facebook says that Wadja is just too spammy for their clean and safe network (sarcastic tone here), so being the champions of privacy and protection for the average Joe (totally sarcastic tone) they love and care for so much, they took the initiative to block the word http://Wadja.com (say what???).
One of two things is happening here, either Wadja is just being talked about too much in facebok, or we got a technical glitch perhaps. Wait a minute the word f&^k is not blocked, nor is a*&h;*^le...hmmm...and hey wait one minute, isn't Facebook the company that spams the s*&t; out of users with vampire bites and zombie buzzes. isn't Facebook the company that published your shopping habits for the whole world to see. Is this not the same Facebook that one day embraces Data Portability and the next day blocks Google Friend Connect? Google banned by Facebook, that’s like the Royal Family getting kicked out of MacDonalds (actually scratch that, I like McD’s)..hmm how about Beckham getting bounced from country night at Fridays Bar and Grill ..what is the world coming to?
Since when does Facebook monitor your messages? And how the heck can a service like Wadja spam a network like Facebook. We all know that Facebook traffic is flat and falling (Facebook fatigue is a reality that is settling in nice and comfy), but banning words, come on! What's next, phrases, thoughts, ideas, critiques, opinions; Maybe even photos of users based on dress, color, race, religion, sexual orientation. Where does it stop for Facebook? Is the grand plan for Facebook to make everyone into a white and blue, preppy robot? MySpace may be cluttered at times, but it is expressive and free.
