I love the iPhone - In my opinion it's not a mobile phone, but a new way of communicating and having fun whilst on the go. I am counting down to the day I will own one... In the US, people are already lining up outside the Apple stores in anticipation for the new 3G iPhone.
Greece is one of the lucky countries where the new 3G iPhone will be available (through Vodafone, later this year). Vodafone has already started SMS'ing its customers informing them that they can pre-order the iPhone, although there is no official announcement from Vodafone as to when, where and how much!
Steve Jobs did us a favor again, releasing the new 3G iPhone, which - according to their ad - is the only phone to beat the original iPhone. Unfortunately, the mobile operators seem to have a firm grip on the availability of the product. Ridiculously expensive data plans, long-term price plans and hefty device pricing.
I can only hope that Vodafone doesn't replace the unique Safari browser, with their own Vodafone Live! initiative.
